Today I became the newest member of the Artists Helping Animals program with HeARTS Speak! Check our their Facebook page (HeARTS Speak) and their website (www.heartsspeak.org) to see all the great work they do for shelters across the country and how you can help!
I have opened an Etsy page! While I figure out what people want and how to deliver it in the best way possible, my Etsy page currently contains digital images only. That being said, I can get you whatever you want including, prints, images on canvas, metal, wood, gift items such as mugs, luggage tags, coasters, mouse pads, etc. I plan to continue to build the Etsy page so keep checking back or shoot me an email if there is something you are looking for. The link to the Etsy page is https://www.etsy.com/shop/OutdoorWondersCO. Thank you!
I am thrilled, shocked and crazy excited that one of my images was chosen to be included in the 2017 Colorado Outdoors Magazine Photo Issue! The magazine came out on December 6 and can be ordered online at https://coloradooutdoorsmag.com/magazine/. There are some amazing images in this issue and I would highly recommend you take a peek. If you don’t want to purchase the magazine, you can see the entire collection on a seven minute video at https://coloradooutdoorsmag.com/2017/12/05/2017-colorado-outdoors-photo-issue-video/. It is well worth the seven minutes to see what this great state has to offer. Below is my image that is included in the photo issue. Enjoy!!
I am incredibly happy to announce that I will have prints hanging in the Lyons Town Hall from October 6, 2017 through January 5, 2018 as part of the Area Photographers’ Showcase sponsored by the Lyons Arts & Humanities Commission. If you have a chance, please stop by and check out the showcase! wordpress
I will be participating in this Pop-up Market at LVS Antiques from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday, July 15, located at 530 Kimbark in downtown Longmont. I will have a lot of new prints available for sale along with many other items that would make great gifts for yourself or someone else! I am really looking forward to Saturday! Come down and check out the show! UPDATE: The show was a success, a lot of fun and I will be doing another in September! If you couldn’t make it out, check out my booth and the booth of Kathleen Kavanagh who shared the space with her amazing hand crafted vintage jewelry!
I have been asked to display my photographs on both walls at Ziggi’s Coffee Shop in downtown Longmont for the month of January, 2018! I’m so excited! Now I have to select at least 24 of my favorite wildlife and landscape images. I was thinking of hanging animals on one wall, birds on the other and mixing the landscapes in with both. To help me make the selection, I would love to know which images you would pick. They will all be processed to 8 x 10 prints with white mats in 11 x 14 black frames. All the prints will be available for sale for $45 each. Can’t wait and I hope you can stop into Ziggi’s in January, order a beverage and enjoy the display!
As you may remember, I photographed Longmont Humane Society’s Pups and Pancakes event on May 27, 2017. LHS has been contacted by our local newspaper who wants to do a story about the shelter and the event which will run in the July/August publication of the Longmont Magazine. I’m excited for the shelter and myself as I will be given photo credit in the magazine! Check it out! If you are local, grab a copy of the magazine. If you are not, there will also be a digital copy available. And as always, please visit and donate to your local shelter. LHS is amazing! UPDATE: The magazine is available! Grab your copy today (see below) to see our story and many others!
I recently submitted photographs to this year’s Nature Conservancy photo contest and was accepted! Check out all the great entries on the Nature Conservancy website. Attached is my favorite image I submitted. Voting begins on June 15. Enjoy!!!
I have dropped off brochures for senior portraits to several high schools in the St. Vrain Valley School district. You may know one of the three lovely students I had the pleasure of photographing last year. If you do, please tell them congratulations! Typically yearbook photos need to be submitted at the beginning of your senior year. If you have any questions, please give me a call. I would love to work with you!
I’ve been working under Marsha, photographer extraordinare, at Longmont Humane Society and I have been offered my own photography time slot which I gladly accepted! I am looking forward to capturing all these incredible animals like Tigger here. This is an amazing shelter.
